Most fight situations that arise in life are completely avoidable if you break it down. Still I'm glad I study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so I know how to do things like hold back idiot friends or drunk uncles at the family reunion. Also, if I do end up on the ground I know how to sweep an opponent quickly and get back to my feet.
